Youth Pastor: SooHyun Lee
I grew up in a non-believing family until I was invited to a church one Sunday morning when I was in high school. It was after two months of persistent invitation that I went to the church, hoping I would not be asked anymore if I went. That is when I heard the gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time, went home curious, and asked if I could come back again. Curiosity soon turned to conviction and saw my sins and trusted in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
I originally was studying Sports Management at Towson University in Towson, Maryland but because of family financial issues, I dropped out to help the family. During this time, I was serving at the church in the youth ministry as a teacher and got the call to ministry, as my heart was challenged for the gospel to be saturated in the next generation. From that point, I have served as an intern, assistant youth pastor, and interim youth pastor at the same church over a span of 8 years.
I attended and graduated from Lancaster Bible College (Lancaster, PA) with a bachelor’s in Biblical Studies and currently pursuing an MDiv degree in Pastoral Ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.
I am married to my wife, Eunsu, whom I met during a mission trip to Mexico. It truly is God’s grace that I met Christ and that I met Eunsu.
