English Pastor: Rev. Jacob Park


Pastor Jacob and his wife Flora are both Canadians.  Jacob is a 2nd generation Korean Canadian.  Flora immigrated to Canada in 2002. Jedidiah was born in 2014 (a long awaited, much prayed for arrival!).  Jacob was born and raised in Canada.  Jacob did not grow up in church, but was saved at a summer retreat just before he started High School.  Jacob has an undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Alberta, a MDiv from Gordon Conwell, and is currently a Ph.D. student at SouthEastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before becoming a vocational minister, Jacob worked in the IT field as a programmer and systems administrator.  His passion is studying scripture and relaying its truths through preaching, teaching and developing relationships with people.  He has served as a pastor since 2001.

Youth Pastor: Jerry Cho

Namjong Jerry Cho was born in Seoul, Korea and immigrated to the U.S. in 1993. Jerry encountered Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a summer retreat in 1994. He met his wife, Hye-sil, while they were both serving as missionaries in Thailand and Cambodia in 2003. They have two sons, Justin Hankelle and Eden Hadam. Jerry is now studying to be a good and faithful preacher at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Jerry is committed to worshiping God through expositing Scripture and has accepted it as his calling in life.

Assistant Pastor: Rev. Ken Duncan

Pastor Duncan is from Casper, Wyoming and his wife Junah is from Seoul, South Korea. Ken was saved when he was sixteen at which time the Lord made radical changes in his life. While sixteen, he believed the Lord was calling him into ministry and went on to get an undergraduate degree in Accounting and an MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ken loves to memorize Scripture and to teach God’s Word. Ken has been ministering at FKBC since 2003.
